This 6 Day Migration Safari features a fly-in trip from Arusha to the Kogatende Airstrip in the Serengeti. You ill get to tour the famous Northern Circuit parks like the Tarangire National Park, Lake Manyara and Southern Serengeti Group size is a maximum 12 people on a guaranteed departure.
After breakfast, you will be met by your professional driver guides, drive to Tarangire National Park, the third largest national park in Tanzania. Game drive en-route and the drive will take about 4 hrs to arrive. You are expected to arrive in time for lunch. Later afternoon drive, to the lodge.

Overnight Eileen’s Trees Inn (B,L,D)
On this morning we will leave on our way to Ngorongoro Crater for a game drive (1½ hrs drive from the Bougainvillea Lodge). Our drive takes us up to the rim of the Crater; we will descend more than 2,000 feet on steep tracks cut into the crater wall to reach the open plains of the Crater floor. The Ngorongoro Crater is undoubtedly the best place in Tanzania to view black rhino as well as large prides of lion that include magnificent black-manned males. It is also home to huge herds of wildebeest and zebra and many other plains game, such as Thomson’s gazelle. An alkaline lake in the floor of the Crater provides a habitat for colorful flamingo and a variety of other water birds. Massive bull elephants feed in the swamps, some adorned with enormous tusks. Later in the afternoon proceed to Ndutu.
Overnight Serengeti Savannah Camp
After breakfast, enjoy a full day game drive in the Ndutu area. Explore the range of different habitats that include swamps, woodland, soda lakes and the world famous Serengeti short grass plains. See great herds of wildebeest and zebra. During a short time frame around February, normally lasting for about 3 weeks, the majority of the wildebeest calve. The sea of grass provides little cover and the young are easy pickings for a variety of predators. Wildebeest calves can run minutes after they are born and within 3 days they are normally strong enough to keep up with the herd.

Today you will enjoy your last early morning game drive around the Ndutu area then have breakfast at the Camp and thereafter drive to the Kilimanjaro with picnic lunch along the way, arrive at the Airport ready for your home bound flight.

Migunga Tented Camp is located in the northwest of Lake Manyara National Park. The camp is situated in the midst of an acacia forest, only 5 minutes from the entrance of Lake Manyara National Park. This is the best base camp to discover the beautiful surroundings of Lake Manyara, or pay a cultural visit to the colourful town of Mto Wa Mbu.
Eileen’s Trees Inn is located in the ‘Crater Highlands’ town of Karatu. It is owned and managed by Tanzanians who have been in the safari and hospitality business for many years. The inn’s mission is to provide their safari visitors comfortable accommodation at good value and a low price point.
The Serengeti Savannah Camp is located in the Southern and Central areas of the Serengeti areas that are reknown for outstanding wildlife encounters. The Serengeti Savannah Camp operates in the ndutu region from December through march and in the Central region from june through October.
