Singita Grumeti

Singita Grumeti is a collection of luxury lodges and camps on a vast private concession in the western Serengeti ecosystem, bordering Serengeti National Park along the path of the Great Migration. The concession is exclusive to Singita's guests, so game drives take place with very few other vehicles, and activities that are not permitted in the national park — such as guided walking safaris, night drives and off-road driving — are possible here. Each property has its own character: Sasakwa Lodge is a grand Edwardian-style manor on a hilltop, Sabora Tented Camp recalls the golden age of 1920s safaris on the open plains, and Faru Faru Lodge is a contemporary lodge beside the Grumeti River. Wildlife is outstanding year-round, with lion, leopard, cheetah and elephant, and the migration usually moves through the area around June and July. Singita Grumeti also supports the non-profit Grumeti Fund, which leads anti-poaching, habitat restoration and community work across the concession.
