Sarova Mara Game Camp

Sarova Mara Game Camp is a large tented camp inside the Maasai Mara National Reserve, 2.5 km from Sekenani Gate on the reserve's eastern side, run by the Kenyan group Sarova Hotels. The tents are beige canvas with big windows, glass doors and permanent roofs, and each has a wooden deck with a day bed. In 2026 the camp has 59 deluxe tents, four two-bedroom family suites and 12 Olchani Club tents with butler service, which take guests aged 13 and over; the Club is being upgraded, so we confirm availability when we book it. There is a free-flow pool, a pond for catch-and-release fishing and the Tulia wellness tent, and the Isokon restaurant cooks with vegetables from the camp's organic garden. Game drives go straight into the reserve, where wildebeest, zebra and gazelle fill the plains in the migration months, and balloon safaris, nature walks with a Maasai moran and visits to the neighbouring Isokon village can be added. Families are well looked after, with a kids' club for ages 4 to 12 and babysitting. Keekorok airstrip is 15 km away, or the drive from Nairobi takes about four hours.
