If you have selected a private mobile camp for your safari, we will take you to the wilderness in great style. We use camp sites reserved exclusively for you and which are selected according to the seasons, climate and wildlife movement. The private mobile camp provides a safari experience away from the large tour groups or crowded lodge areas. At the camp you will be only you and your family or friends, for private mobile safari we never mix groups together. For this type of safari it is always the best to book as early as possible so that we will be able to book and reserve the right campsites at the right time of the year depending on the animals’ movements.
How the Private Mobile Camp works!
Our camp crew will leave the base and head toward where our first campsite is it depend on the size of the group that will go camping on that particular safari. If the group is of 12 people they will go ahead three days before arrival of the clients to make sure every detail is taken care when you arrive at the camp. There will be tent attendant, Chef, waiters, truck driver and several other helpers around the camp they all work as the team to make sure your stay at the camp is comfortable as much as possible We use the large walk in Tents with spacious verandah in front. Your room is furnished with comfortable safari chairs and tables – the perfect retreat for a relaxing moment watching a weaver bird building its nest in a nearby Acacia tree, a herd of impala grazing quietly only meters away, or simply relaxing and listening to the sounds of the African bush. Bathroom is complete with a dressing table with fully plumbed washbasin, eco-friendly toilet and showers – a new, and often surprising, interpretation of ‘camping’. Hot water is available throughout the day and evening and, like your laundry, morning tea or in fact your every need will be arranged by your Butler allowing for a refreshing wash, shower or maybe a shave on the verandah of your tent.Your Dining Experience
The dining area is a large tent which can be opened to the views of the bush area. The interior is designed in an African décor. The dining and bar facilities ensure the spirit of being in the African bush. The bar is fully stocked and we will include your special requests. We use only purified water for your drinks and for the ice. Your day will begin with our chef’s home made muesli, baked bread, freshly squeezed juices and eggs cooked to order. Throughout your safari your chef will provide delicious meals and snacks from original recipes. Fruits, vegetables, and dairy products are supplied to your camp every three to four days to ensure fresh ingredients for your expertly prepared meals. In addition to serving you, your waiter will supply you with cold or hot beverages during your time in camp. We can accommodate most diet requirements.
