Kilimanjaro
International
Airport, after
clearing customs and
immigration
formalities, you
will be welcomed by
Ecological
wilderness
representatives and
transferred to
Arusha,
Arusha Coffee
lodge.
Nestling amongst the
coffee plants
of
this working
plantation is the
Arusha Coffee Lodge,
part of the largest
coffee plantation in
Tanzania. Recently
renovated and
designed around the
original plantation
houses the décor is
plush and stylish
with a continued
theme throughout the
public areas of
large open
fireplaces, plush
furnishings and
muted colour
schemes, conducive
for dining and
relaxing. With an
emphasis on fine
cuisine in a
laid-back
environment guests
can enjoy an
extensive evening
restaurant menu,
‘theatre’ style
grills for lunch or
a ‘comfort’ menu,
featuring
traditional
favourites, in the

the outskirts of the
town of Arusha, just

Day 02 Arusha –
Ngorongoro Crater
After breakfast
drive to
Ngorongorro
Highlands with
picnic Lunches and
go straight to The
Crater fooor for
game drive. Lunch
will be a picnic
lunch at a site
located near a hippo
pool. After viewing
game in the
afternoon you
proceed toward the
lodge to your lodge.
Nestled onto the rim
of the Crater, all
in stone and wood
construction and
overgrown with
natural vegetation,
the 75 rooms of the
lodge become almost
unseen among the
natural
surroundings. They
are breathtaking
views of the crater
from all the rooms.
Ngorongoro Crater is
one of the most
spectacular and
certainly the most
unique game-viewing
destination on
Earth. A
perfectly-formed
sunken caldera,
ringed by 2000 foot
high walls and
inhabited by as wide
a cross-section of
wildlife as lives on
the continent of
Africa. We will take
today to explore
this awe-inspiring
natural amphitheatre
in full, using our
4WD safari-viewing
vehicles to full
effect in order to
investigate every
eco-system and
pocket of the finest
game-viewing
destination on the
planet. We have a
very good chance of
spotting the Big
Five in a single day
during our game
drive including the
endangered Black
Rhino, and the
network of tracks
allows us a
proximity rarely
afforded elsewhere
on the safari
circuit.

Day 03 Ngorongoro
– Serengeti National
Park
After breakfast we
drive to Serengeti
onto the open plains
of the vast
Serengeti meaning
‘Endless Plains’ in Maa the language
spoken by the
indigenous Masai who
had inhabited the
area for centuries.
You e will visit the
famed Olduvai Gorge
(approximately 3
hours drive
depending) en-route
to the Serengeti,
where after years of
perseverance Louis
and Mary Leakey
discovered the
origins of
Australopithecus Bosei, or the ‘Nut
Cracker’ dating back
millions of years.
Arguably the most
famous National Park
in the World, the
Serengeti perhaps
defines the safari
experience as surely
as the wildlife that
inhabits it.
Established in 1951,
and covering an area
of almost 15,000 sq
km –an area
comparable to the
state of Connecticut
or Northern Ireland,
the Serengeti hosts
a fantastically
diverse eco-system
The famous short and
long grass plains of
the south slowly
unfurl into the
Acacia savannah of
the central area,
the hilly, more
densely wooded areas
of the north, and
the extensive
woodland in the
western corridor,
each with its own
resident variations
of African wildlife.
The
Serengetii
promises all that
the first-time
game-viewer or
experienced
safari-hand could
ever hope to witness
and it rarely, if
ever, disappoints.
Dinner and Overnight
at Private Mobile
Camp
Day 04 & 05
Serengeti National
Park
Two full days of
excitement awaits
you as you depart
from the Camp at
sunrise in order to
capture the dawn
activities, and the
early morning light.
Here at the Camp in
Ndutu area you can
walk instead of
doing a game drive
and explore the Area
on foot, and also
you have an
opportunity to relax
in the Camp –
enjoying your
natural environment
watching a heard of
Impala wander not
far from the Camp
before going for
your afternoon game
drive
The spacious
verandah in front of
your room is
furnished with
comfortable safari
chairs and tables -
the perfect retreat
for a relaxing
moment watching a
weaver bird building
its nest in a nearby
Acacia tree, a herd
of impala grazing
quietly only meters
away, or simply
relaxing and
listening to the
sounds of the
African bush.
Bathroom is complete
with a dressing
table with fully
plumbed washbasin,
lavatory and showers
– a new, and often
surprising,
interpretation of
‘camping’. Hot water
is available
throughout the day
and evening and,
like your laundry,
morning tea or in
fact your every need
will be arranged by
your Butler allowing
for a refreshing
wash, shower or
maybe a shave on the
verandah of your
tent.
Cuisine under canvas
is exceptional,
using only fresh
ingredients,
original recipes and
with beautiful
presentation our
camp chefs never
cease to amaze our
guests. We cater to
all dietary
requirements,
however demanding.
Meals can be served
al fresco or in the
traditional mess
tent and served by
our liveried
waiters.

"The mobile tents were a special
way to enjoy the bush and we
highly recommend this
experience. We are still talking
about the meals we had while in
camp!" Judy & Lee Paker |
