the famous
husband-and-wife
team of Louis
and Mary Leakey.
After leaving
Olduvai we will
soon be passing
through
multitudes of
wildebeest en
route to the
renowned Ndutu
Area, which
covered by short
grass plains,
umbrella-thorn
acacias in the
heart of the
southern
Serengeti. At
this time of
year Ndutu
buzzes with
international
photographers
and film crews,
attracted by the
spectacle
provided by the
wildebeest
The spacious
verandah in
front of your
room is
furnished with
comfortable
safari chairs
and tables - the
perfect retreat
for a relaxing
moment watching
a weaver bird
building its
nest in a nearby
Acacia tree, a
herd of impala
grazing quietly
only meters
away, or simply
relaxing and
listening to the
sounds of the
African bush.
Bathroom is
complete with a
dressing table
with fully
plumbed
washbasin,
lavatory and
showers – a new,
and often
surprising,
interpretation
of ‘camping’.
Hot water is
available
throughout the

laundry, morning
tea or in fact
